04/03/2004: "The Fall of Fergal by Philip Ardagh (4-6)"

This is the first installment in a trilogy called "The Unlikely Exploits." I am glad to have continued reading after the first couple of chapters -- at first, I thought it just a copy-cat of other popular titles such as those by Lemony Snicket. It turned out to be a little more than that, quite entertaining, in a dark and gloomy way. Definitely for readers who enjoy both Dahl and Snicket and have an appetite of large doses of sarcasm and irony.
